About This Event

Pathological demand avoidance (PDA) is a profile that describes those whose main characteristic is to avoid everyday demands and expectations to an extreme extent. This demand avoidance is usually driven by extreme anxiety. This practical training looks at the differences and similarities of Autism, Asperger's Syndrome and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and gives attendees a "tool-kit" of strategies to effectively support children and young people with this profile of needs.

About the Trainer

Laura Kerbey has worked with children and young people with autism and other special needs for over 20 years. Laura is an advisor to PDA North America and provides support, advice and training to families all over the world.
